Most recently re-released on YouTube, “The Obama Deception” is a two-hour film. “The Obama Deception” claims to track the lies within the U.S. Government and plans of the “New World Order.” Some believers say that “The Obama Deception” is complete truth, others say it is a proven-invalid conspiracy theory.
The claims in ‘The Obama Deception’
You will find hundreds of arguments within the two hours of “The Obama Deception”. The basic crux of the argument is that President Obama is “a hoax carefully crafted by the captains of The New World Order… the international banks plan to loot the individuals of the United States and turn them into slaves.”
The way ‘The Obama Deception’ makes financial arguments
“The Obama Deception” claims that international banks are organizing various plots. Banks are an easy scapegoat and villain, since the banking system failure is large within the minds of most. Alex Jones has named the “head” of this organization called the “New World Order” as several different agencies other than banks – in other writings, it has been FEMA, the United Nations, even “America and England.” In short, if the global financial system is truly the head of the “New World Order,” as Jones claims, this can be a change from his other movies, shows, and interviews.
Tracing the trail of money
”The Obama Deception” asks you, as the viewer, to “follow the money.” You will need to apply this standard to both sides of the argument. Alex Jones is a relatively wealthy media mogul with movies, radio shows, and TV series. About once a year for the last few years, Alex Jones has requested a “money bomb” on his website. These “money bombs” tend to net about a quarter-million dollars, and each year the goal is the exact same, yet it never is apparently reached:
“Alex will use this money to build a studio, a sound stage, purchase cameras and equipment, computers, expand office space and hire additional staff. Alex hopes to launch a new television show on the Dish Network, thus reaching thousands, possibly millions of additional people…”
Is there truth to be found in ‘The Obama Deception’?
There are hundreds, if not thousands of individual arguments within “The Obama Deception”. In the end, it is very important to carefully research all claims both for and against any argument. No matter what you believe, taking all arguments in financial, social and political context will give you a more complete view. There are many quotations and statistics within the movie that are, at best, incredibly questionable. It is very important take any and all conspiracy theories, including “The Obama Deception”, with a large grain of salt.
